Able Black by Scott Leach $1.99

Able Black comes from Scott Leach. It's a cross between a puzzle and a sci-fi short story.
Your Man is Able Black, an android with feelings. Reminds me of an old Ray Bradbury story that was featured in EC Comics in the 50's. That's all I'm going to tell you.

The story is compelling. The puzzles are few and not too difficult.  5 clues are given for each one.  I laughed when I figured one out!

I believe that I downloaded this game months ago when it was temporarily listed as free.

Able Black is short, riveting and well worth $1.99.

Oh! Scott is working on a novel with this.

Eraser. Dotless Puzzle by Ruslan Goncharenko FREE

Eraser. Dotless Puzzle comes from the prolific Ruslan Goncharenko. I can't keep up with all his puzzle apps. The object is to get your snails and birds to scoop up the dots within a certain number of moves.
Snails move 1 square at a time.
Birds fly until they hit an object, or fly off the board.
Some puzzles, not all, have a switch button. See images 3 & 4.  When that is pushed, all the animals switch to the other.  Pushing the button counts as a move and can be pushed multiple times.

The grid sizes go from 4x4 to 8x8 with 1000 levels in each.  That's right, 5000 levels!

I've done about 10 levels.

Algemy by Kenny Young FREE

Algemy comes from Kenny Young. The object is to light up all the squares in the grid while also lighting up the crystals with the matching light beam.
The puzzles start out very easy with small grids and just the primary colors.  The grid sizes increase, colors need to be mixed. Hexagonal grids are included.
Algemy has more than 1000 levels. That's a lot more than I want to do. However, I've done about 150 levels.  Maybe there should be a Leaderboard to keep us competitive.  I'm also just curious to see how many other people are playing this. Good job Kenny.

Golden Sum by Alexander Stewart FREE

Golden Sum comes from Alexander Stewart. It's a pure math puzzle.  The instructions were not written clearly. With trial & error I figured it out.

Each of the 3 images shown is an actual solution.

At the start of each puzzle, there are 3 numbers. 2 are beige and they are adjacent. 1 is gold. The gold number can be anywhere on the board. Your task is to add the 2 beige numbers and place their sum on another adjacent cell. The new cell will be beige.  Keep picking 2 beige numbers to create another number and eventually create a number whose sum will be adjacent to the gold number.

I don't know how many levels there are. I've done about 40.

Oh yes, starting at level 33 there are 2 gold squares to solve.

Pinball Breaker Forever by XperimentalZ Games Temporarily FREE

Pinball Breaker Forever comes from XperimentalZ Games.  It's a cross between the old Space Invaders video game and pinball.  The colorful blocks gradually descend while you must use the pinball to knock them out.
Maybe the flippers have too small a gap. Also the overall screen is extremely busy. Still, it's a fun game.

Colorzzle by JU HWAN KIM FREE

Colorzzle comes from JU HWAN KIM.  The object is to energize the crystal squares with the appropriate light source.
Most of the time, the crystal needs to be placed next to the power source.
Later on, light beams come in. Crystals and sometimes the power sources, can swap places.
There are 107 levels and I actually solved them all in about 2 hours.  It's easy!  But a few levels were tricky.  #98 in particular.
The graphics are great!

LoKo Puzzle by Kobayaashi Studios $.99

LoKo Puzzle comes from Kobayaashi Studios.  The object is to create a single path that uses each node once.  The Plus node must have horizontal/vertical lines.  The X uses only diagonals.
The blank nodes must use 1 diagonal and either 1 horizontal or 1 vertical.

Once I got the hang of this, I cruised through about a dozen levels.  I timed myself on level 76 (there are 78 levels and you can jump around).  2 minutes was my time.

Big Negative: when I opened the program later, all of my progress through those dozen levels were wiped out.

Still, I like this game.  Reminds me of Monorail from 2011.

puzzlement by gamebra.in $.99

puzzlement comes from gamebra.  As soon as I saw the author, I didn't even bother looking at the description - I knew this would be wonderful.  I was right.
The object is to get Your Man/Men, the big red square/s to scoop up the little red squares.  Not shown in these images is that Your Man has little feet.  He can travel to his right or left.
Your Man must be re-oriented in order to be able to get to everything. Oh yes, he can always jump up 1 square.  When he comes upon a blue square, he's flipped upside down and shot to the ceiling.
The real beauty of this game is traveling across/along the other faces of the cubes.
One little problem is when Your Man needs to do a double jump by tapping to the right at the same time as jumping. Often, it didn't quite work and I was forced to restart.  Also, it's a bit illogical that Your Man can do a double jump to the left/right, but can only jump straight up 1 square.

Minor complaints.  puzzlement is an absolute gem.  50 levels. I did them in about 3-5 hours.

Unpuzzle by Pavlo Sich FREE

Unpuzzle comes from Pavlo Sich.  The object is to remove dismantle everything piece by piece. Look at the first image.  The top right slides up & out. Then the piece to its left would slide to the right. And the piece to its left would then slide up.
In the second image, blue arrowed pieces can only travel in 1 direction.  The red pieces will turn completely white after a certain # of prior moves have been made.
The green hooks add another element of restrictions.
The squares with a red outline can rotate.
The blue dots travel together.
The yellow triangles - any piece that crashes into them disintegrates, which is good.

There are 150 levels and I've done about 40 of them.  Unpuzzle is not very hard but it's very relaxing.
The graphics perfect.

It's a Trap! by ayush singla FREE

It's a Trap comes from Ayush Singla. It's a point scoring puzzle app game.  The green square is Your Man. Your Man must score points by attacking the other pieces before they surround you or poke you.
The graphics and instructions could be better.  Essentially:
The yellow squares never travel.
The red squares rotate and travel.
The blue squares can push you to the next square. Unless there's already another square there, and then you're poked dead.
The black squares appear if you have poked 5 other squares on that spot.  Black squares can never block everything and will end your game.

I really did not want to like this game.  But I do! Somebody on the Leaderboard has a fantastic score, which means I have not perfected my strategy.

Levity by Neon Play FREE

Levity comes from Neon Play.  It is quite unusual.  The object is to rotate your perspective on the fragmented lines & curves and somehow align them into a single shape to match something else.

This is done be rotating the whole view and zooming in/out.  This is definitely a very cool concept.

I've only solved 3 levels.  This is very hard.

1SlimePlz by Saran Siripuekpong

1SlimePlz  comes from Saran Siripuekpong.  The object is to tap on an empty square which is adjacent to 2 or more slime objects and watch them merge.
Ideally, you'll want to end up with just 1 slime pile and hopefully it will land on the star.

40 levels - they go fast.

Dissembler by Ian MacLarty $2.99

Dissembler comes from Ian MacLarty.  It's a match 3 game. The objective is to eliminate all the squares. Each move is a vertical or horizontal swap of 2 pieces. As long as there is a 3 color combo anywhere on the board, the move is legal.
Some squares have multiple colors. In those, the outer color must be matched first. There are approximately 125 puzzles. I've done about 100.

There is a point scoring version too.  In that version, all squares have 3 colors. So there's a lot of strategic planning to stay alive as long as possible. My only qualm with this part of the game is that the playing field is too small and could be increased probably by 50%.

The graphics are great. The puzzles go pretty fast, but I have stumbled.  These are well crafted.

Dissembler is a little gem. Great job Ian!
